Ty and Trevor’s Wedding

August. 7. 2021
Horse Guard – Family Private Ranch

Ty and Trevor were married on a beautiful and sunny summer day in Central Oregon. Their wedding was one of our very favorites of 2021. The floral mood was romantic soft tones mixed with a boho flair. We used soft apricots and blush and muted dusty mauve with earthy tones of beiges and taupe. Bringing in dried floral elements of palms, thistle, pampas, and ruscus.

It was fun planning with Jess. The couple was busy and traveled a lot for work — and learning that Ty’s stomping grounds are in my hometown of San Luis Obispo, CA where she travels for work and fun — that was an added bonus and a fun connection! The family was so welcoming to our team that day and the wedding had such a relaxed feeling that made us feel like old friends as well as a wedding vendor.

It took a team of us to create the florals for their vision, as it was a large wedding with many elaborate pieces. The bride carried a loose textural bouquet of specialty garden roses, spray roses, pincushion, tulips, and many dried textures, finished off with silk ribbon from Wildly Collected.

Her bridesmaids wore champagne neutral-toned dresses and carried a smaller version of Ty’s bouquet. Trevor’s boutonniere was a white ranunculus with olive and dried grasses. For the ceremony, we created a ground arch, a semi-circle of flowers that matched the rolling fields of the ranch perfectly The centerpieces were a mixture of gold compote designs on the rounds and garlands of greens with pops of flowers for the farm tables. We used @Curated Event Rentals bud vases for the cocktail rounds.

We had three signs to floral, one a large lit-up sign backdrop that turned out amazing.

This wedding was one for the books, full of magic, and love. Congratulations to our friends Ty and Trevor!
