Hello, Lovelies!
People often ask what is a styled shoot and what is its purpose. A styled shoot gives creatives an opportunity to show examples of their flair, style and have fun styling a wedding. It showcases their work and what a wedding could look like in a mock fashion. It also provides content with photographers shooting the event and creatives can add to their portfolios. It’s fun!
We are often invited to floral styled shoots by many coordinators and photographers and venues. We will collaborate on a couple a year when the shoot just feels like we have to be a part of it. They are a lot of work! Not as stress-filled as a real wedding, but almost as much goes into the creation of a shoot as far as planning, time, and design.
When Emily Noyd from Ponderosa Planning met with us about this shoot we just knew we were going to accept being a part of it! Awesome creative team and free creative control of the florals! Like I said it was a blast!
With elopements and micro weddings on the rise, styled shoots are very comparable to what these small intimate ceremonies are like. We love all the micro weddings right now, so much intimacy and love involved in them.
This shoot was featured in WedVenture Magazine 2020.
